We offer daycare from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 48 weeks per year
Structure of the day:
In the morning the focus is on learning with the Montessori material. In the afternoon we offer various complementary activities: art studio (e.g. painting, forming, sculpting), music, rhythm, theatrical projects, excursions, such as visiting a farm, a pony yard, a museum). We exercise in the gym nearby and attend swim training.

Enrolment and attendance:
Enrolment is possible any time if space is available. To assure an appropriate integration of your child into the groups, a presence of min. 2 days (resp. 4 half-days) is mandatory. From a pedagogic stand point attendance of 3 days is recommended. Children in the obligatory Kindergarten have to attend a minimum of 4 mornings and 2 afternoons. Children below 3 years can attend less than 2 days in the first 3 months for familiarisation.
Opening Hours/Vacations:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., 46 weeks per year (vacation: 4 weeks in the Summer and 2 weeks during the Christmas Holidays). Closed during the official holidays of the Canton of Zug. In case of sufficient demand an additional daycare program of 2 weeks is offered during the summer against payment.
Caretaking during School Holidays:
The Opening Hours remain the same during School Holidays. During School Holidays there is a special „Holiday Program“ offered which is tailored to the needs of the particular group. There will be no Montessori lessons during that time. The topics are prepared based on the specific groups’ interests.
Meals/Morning and Afternoon Snack:
The children take part in the preparation of their meals. We emphasize nutritious and healthy food made for children. Drinks include unsweetened tea and water. Individual requests (allergies, vegetarian) will be considered.
Teachers/Staff:
Certified and educated English/German Montessori-Teachers and other (Social Pedagogues, Nursery School Teachers) accompany your child with care during the day. Apprentices, interns and assistances support them.
Insurance:
Parents are responsible for proper insurance cover (accident, health and liability insurance).
Involvement of Parents:
Each child has its individual key teacher. This person is responsible for the familiarization of the child and main contact person for the parents. At least once a year an advancement discussion takes place per child with the parents. Parents’ evenings and other mutual events are conducted (e.g. Santa Claus, summer event). Parents are kept informed via the pinboard at the kindergarten, the password-protected parents website and a parents newsletter which is sent on a regular basis.
Prices:
5 days full daycare (7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) cost all inclusive (childcare, teaching, lunchtime attendance, Z'nüni, Z'vieri, dental care equipment, regular events, handicraft material) 2'180 CHF p.m. Children in the obligatory Kindergarten get a discount of 10%.
